Weekly Trophy

Here Joseph hold the trophy presented weekly to a top performer at our Saturday club workout. The trophy honors our long-time, “esteemed and for life” club president, Walt Van Zant (seen seated).

The inscription on the trophy reads “WALTER VAN ZANT – WVJS PRESIDENT – CLUB TROPHY” and is held proudly for a week by a deserving club runner.

In earlier days, the club had another trophy to honor a former runner named Dick Barrett. That trophy was also presented weekly for many years. See this information regarding the DICK BARRETT TROPHY.
